There’s nothing more flexible than a DAF chassis cab. The market-leading truck brand sold as a blank canvas for the next owner to fit an existing body or to have one built specially to fulfill the operational requirements of the business. Most DAF models that are sold as chassis cabs are from the lightweight LF range although there is always a good selection from the CF as well. It is important to double check the wheelbase length, as DAF mad lots of lengths of their trucks – you’ll have to be 100% sure that the body you want to use will fit (legally) ont he DAF chassis cab you are looking to buy. Consider too the rear axle rations to make sure that the final drive set up is suitable for your applications (a tipper may well vary to a box truck set up).

So much so that the Lancashire-based manufacturer has celebrated the production of its 500,000th vehicle.
