Find used MAN TGX tractor units for sale from their launch year in 2007 up the the latest versions to roll off the production line. The TGX tractor unit was an important replacement for the TGA and is the largest tractor unit cab in the MAN range (the smaller, TGS cab is also available). TGX tractor unit buyers can choose from a confusing range of cab sizes from the XL, XLX and XXL cabs. In 2020 with a range review, MAN changed the cab naming to an equally confusing GN, GM and GX (both smallest to largest).
Older Euro 4 and 5 models are still available with no SCR exhaust after treatment, using only EGR. In theory this is a good idea as no Adblue is required. However, MAN ran into problems with the later Euro 5 EGR only examples of the D26. The issue was around the high pressure intercooler which can leak internally. This can cause residue in the engine oil which can lead to crankshaft bearing failure. From 2012 the TGX tractor units were available with SCR and are the ones to buy in the used market.
